On 29 June 2026, a visit to SOCAR’s Carbamide Plant was organized for young media representatives within the framework of the Energy Dialogue Platform.
Addressing the session, Kutay Durna, Director of the Carbamide Plant, welcomed the participants and provided an overview of the plant’s operations, production capacity, export potential and future plans.
Shohrat Mirzayev, Production Director of the Carbamide Plant, delivered a presentation on the plant’s digital transformation project, the automation of production processes and the innovative solutions implemented at the facility. He also highlighted the plant’s admission to the Global Lighthouse Network of the World Economic Forum and its recognition with the Digital Lighthouse Award.
The session continued with a question-and-answer segment, during which questions raised by the media representatives were addressed.
Following the session, a field visit to the plant was organized for the young journalists.
