SOCAR Downstream Management LLC (SDM) and Infrascan Innovations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, thereby establishing a collaborative framework for the research, demonstration, and potential pilot implementation of innovative inspection solutions at SDM-managed industrial assets and other critical infrastructure facilities.
This includes assessing the technical capabilities of Infrascan's drone and crawler-based robotic inspection technologies, discussing inspection methodologies, conducting pilot tests at selected facilities, and exploring opportunities for future commercial cooperation.
This cooperation is seen as a major step towards strengthening operational safety, more efficient management of industrial assets, and expanding the application of digital technologies. The memorandum will foster the sharing of knowledge and technology between the parties and form a key platform for larger-scale cooperation in the future.
