SDM HAOR Lab has successfully completed the internationally recognized TURKAK accreditation audit. The audit's findings especially acknowledged the Lab's quality system, impartiality principles, technical proficiency, instrumentation, and LIMS implementation as being of the highest standard. The audit has been completed with only one minor NCR for 48 tests within accreditation scope which is an outstanding achievement for such a new team and elaborates the full dedication on this project.
Acquiring the official accreditation certificate by the end of the year, SDM HAOR Lab will be starting to distribute Euro 5 gasoline (EN 228) and Wastewater Reports to Ministry with TURKAK and MRA Logo with full inhouse capability in addition to EURO 5 Diesel(EN 590) reports of last year.
TURKAK accreditation with these main products unlocks global access to the markets and provides recognition across borders with a valuable privilege to SOCAR under EA region specifically ensuring international compliance under EA region customs. This also secures SOCAR’s position in case there is a conflict with sales and marketing – import and export. SDM Lab team is determined to expand to international accreditation scope with crude oil, JetA1 and bitumen scope in 2026 at HAOR in addition to Carbamide accreditation by the end of the year.
